The definition of breast implants – a breast implant in Toronto is placed either above or below the chest muscle. These implants are made of a silicone rubber-like shell and then filled with either a silicone gel or a saline/salt substance much like the substance found naturally in the human body.
Silicone vs. Saline Breast implants in Toronto…
Toronto MemoryGel™ breast implants – holds together uniformly while retaining the natural feel of real breast tissue.
Pre-set fill volume. Not allowing for an adjustment during the operation.
3 projection volumes: Moderate, moderate plus, high profile.
Two shell surfaces available: smooth and textured.
Slightly larger incision size with various options for incision placement.
Toronto Saline breast implants – is filled with a saltwater solution that is fluid but gives a bit of a more firm feel to the breast.
Flexible fill volume that allows the surgeon to adjust during the procedure.
3 projection volumes: Moderate, moderate plus, high profile.
Two shell surfaces available: smooth and textured.
Smaller incision size with various options for incision placement.
There are 3 different breast implant profiles in Toronto to choose from available in both the MemoryGel™ and saline breast implant styles. You may choose from moderate profile, moderate plus profile and high profile. Each of these 3 profiles offers a different projection for each woman’s personal preference and body type. There are 2 separate implant surfaces that you may choose from also and they are; smooth and textured. There is a slight chance that scar tissue will form around the breast implant surface causing a tightening of the implant. This is referred to as a capsular contracture and textured breast implants were initially designed to help reduce that chance, but studies have shown that there is little if any difference in smooth and textured breast implants reducing the chance of a capsular contracture.
You can elect to go with almost any size breast enlargement you can imagine, but there are some limitations as a plastic surgeon in your Toronto area clinic will help to determine the right size for you. You may not have the adequate amount of existing breast tissue available to be able to get certain sizes and there is such a thing as “too big.” Some breast implants in Toronto may be too large for the woman’s body and the implants edges may be noticeable on the skin and the implant may be easily felt. The larger the Toronto breast implant the larger the risk of surgical complications as well.
